About this service

Parking permits help residents, visitors and local businesses use limited street parking fairly in busy parts of Townora. Permits are linked to your vehicle registration, so there is no sticker to display, and you can update your details online at any time.

Before you start

  • Have your vehicle registration number ready
  • Provide proof of address, such as a rates notice or utility bill dated within three months
  • Have a photo of your driver licence available for upload

Who is eligible

Residents living in a permit zone, businesses operating within it and carers who visit regularly can apply. Properties with off-street parking may be limited to one permit, and new apartment developments may be excluded where parking is provided on site.

Changing vehicles or moving house

Update your vehicle registration through your online account at no cost. If you move out of a permit zone, cancel your permit online and receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining full months.

Penalties

Parking in a permit zone without a valid permit may result in an infringement notice. If you believe a notice was issued in error, you can request a review within 28 days.
